Symphony with Usha

Usha began her career with Sri. Vandemataram Srinivas, renowned music director. She got her major break in Telugu film industry in 2000. Soon after, she bagged two Nandi awards in consecutive years. She sang various chart busters for about 450 songs in Telugu movies and 600 private songs. Usha has performed in 150 concerts worldwide. She is favorite at music concerts organized by TANA. Apart from her own solo concerts, she has performed with legendary singers and musicians like Sri. SP Balasubramanyam, Shankar Mahadevan, Hariharan, Mani Sharma, P. Suseela and Mano among many others.In this event, she will be performing with orchestra. She will be singing Telugu, Tamil and Hindi Songs in light music as well as devotional genres. There will also be public demand where singer will sing upon the songs requested from audience.

Cultural programs

Bharata Natyam Dance Performance: Guru Natyakalavathi Smt. Jaya Mani is an accomplished artist in Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi styles and continues to keep alive the rich and exclusive dance tradition of Kanchipuram Ellappa Pillai through her teaching and dance concerts. She is a recipient of many awards and accolades including the title “Pride of India” by the Mayor of Pittsburgh. She is an adjunct professor in the Department of Dance at Slippery Rock University. Her students will give us a beautiful bharata natyam performance.

Classical Music Performance: Smt. Lalitha Prasad Kunapuli is an accomplished classical music performer as well as teacher based in Columbus, OH. She is trained under celebrated guru 'Sangeetha Saamrat' Sri M. S. Balasubrahmanya Sarma. She is a regular performer at All India Radio. She has won many awards and accolades from renowned music associations in India and abroad. She will be performing in this event with violinist Shankar KrishnaMurthy and Mrdangam player Charan.

Each dollar of your donation will be used to pay costs of the performers and event costs. Rest of your donation will be used in construction of a temple for Sri Krishna. Please donate generously towards Bahulavan. All the services are being done by selfless volunteers.
